Ivan is a lifetime artist from Chicago who studied art education at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the University of Illinois Chicago where he graduated in 2001. Since being ordained as a Permanent Deacon in 2015, he has served at the Blessed Aloysius Stepinac Croatian Catholic Mission alongside the Croatian Franciscan community. His creative career includes painting large murals for public spots like restaurants, community centers, and schools. His recent local projects have earned attention from the Chicago Sun-Times and global media. In addition to public art, Ivan frequently creates specialized pieces for individuals, institutions, and businesses.
